Please join the Board, Host Committee and supporters of Brooklyn Greenway Initiative for our annual summer benefit cocktail party, featuring food and drink from Williamsburg’s distinctive eateries! Enjoy the hot-and-sweet music of Michael Arenella and his Quartet while overlooking the East River waterfront and the midtown Manhattan skyline.
All proceeds from New Views 2012: Williamsburg Bistros & Bites will support Brooklyn Greenway Initiative, the 501c3 non-profit organization that is planning for the Brooklyn Waterfront Greenway and its long-term stewardship.
At the June 21st event, New York City will announce its Implementation Plan for the Brooklyn Waterfront Greenway, including 24 capital projects spanning 14 miles from Greenpoint to Sunset Park. Special guests of honor will include Congresswoman Nydia M. Velázquez and NYC DOT Commissioner Janette Sadik-Khan.
The evening will feature food from many of Williamsburg's distinctive eateries, including Allswell, Café Colette, El Almacén, Egg, Parish Hall, Rosarito Fish Shack, Urban Rustic…and more! Drinks will be provided by Brooklyn Brewery, New York Distilling Company, Q Drinks and Waterfront Wines & Spirits.
